Was my philosophy when getting 20's. I'm not out to set any records on road courses. Although the rotor's look good, and obviously are better. The stock ones work fine for me now, and isn't a deal breaker for looks for me.
Mine actually works better with 20's. You have to be more careful pulling up to curbs and stuff obviously, but it keeps me from bottoming out coming out of my driveway.
Factory rotors are fine. They work just as well as before.
Those iForged Monaco's? That's what I have and they look very similar. I've got 20's on front and rear so I also have the ZR1 PS2's. Almost TOO sticky as they grab every loose stone on the street, but an incredible tire to say the least.
Yeah, last year there wasn't a viper even though it was advertised... So I'm not banking it now that there's all this commotion of it being sold/discontinued.
I'm going to be going to the Milwaukee Autoshow later this month. For people who have had them in your area recently, is Dodge showing the Viper? Kinda pointless to build up hype for a car they plan on selling or discontinuing. But other than the Camaro, Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep has nothing...
I had mine professionally done and he told me it was quite the pain to do. It was worth it though and came out very well. Getting the old ones off and new ones on wasn't too hard, just time consuming.
Bought them from JonB, then had them painted to match the stripes.. Took old ones off and put them on myself.. Not hard, but can be time consuming because of how I did it. Not a hard project, if you go through with it shoot me a PM and I can give you some tips.
Part of my next project...
I had someone else put the wheels on because I had new tires put on at the same time and I don't have the equipment. I didn't have it lowered because my car had a tendency to scrape coming out my driveway and the 20's stopped that. It raised it a little, but not a ton.
PS: It's a 96. I...
I hear ya. Took mine out today here in Wisconsin. Gave some kids of a friend of mine a ride and even with new PS2's, I could very easily break from the ground.
Amen, or worse yet.. Follow me on my job, picking up body parts of people who thought it was fun driving 125mph. Driving's a very scary endeavor. You have hundreds of cars(which are essentially a ton of metal on a somewhat narrow road way, going anywhere from 0-80mph (not to mention...
20" iForged Monaco's on both front and rear in Full Polished Aluminum with a Big Brake Offset.
Probably going to S/C it so that'll all get done at once.
Gen 1 is '92-96
Gen 2 is '96-'02 ('96 RT-10 is 1.5, not exactly a Gen1 or Gen2)
Gen 3 is '03-'06 ('06 is only year with Gen3 Coupes)
Gen 4 is '08-'09 (some call it 3.5 because they look a lot like Gen3)
