Hi all,
I had the instructions before with my MOPAR PCM kit on the install/removal procedure but has misplaced them. Anyone have instructions handy?
From what I remember disconnect battery, and under hood passanger side firewall is where the PCM is located. Just wondering if there was more...
This thread has definitely piqued my interested I have been looking for something like this. Love the fact an auto dimming mirror is the mix with this kit.
Does the mirror also have home link or the function for garage door openers ?
This along with the auto dimming mirror would be great.
If it was for my own car, yes I would, but my friend is on a budget and did not want to upgrade to the TR6060.
He has driven my car and does like the TR6060 over the T-56.
Hi,
My friend needs a new transmission, he took his car in to get it checked after losing 2nd gear, and there is more damage than he expected.
A full rebuild/parts is adding up quick.
Anyone have a used transmission for sale or know of any places selling ?
thanks,
Ryan
Good price, for a sharp car ! Strong numbers too.
I have mopar PCM in my 08 and love it, it will help with throttle delay, better idling just all around good upgrade.
I picked up 57 rwhp from it and my full Belanger kit.
SSG with razor wheels from a dealer in minneapolis, with a 3m clear bra on the front?
Was looking at that car when I searching for a SSG roadster, they wouldn't budge on price so I moved along. Nice car !
Did they come down from their asking price of 74k?
Well then I am corrected, I had no idea all cars listed on that list were CAN BUS.
Sounds like this webpage needs updating and they need to clarify some of their wording.
Yes I see the vehicle list, but no where there does it actually state it will only work with CAN BUS systems.
From my interpretation I think it may indeed work, as this statement quoted from there website makes me think so.
"We received many requests for a means to put a factory MYGIG...
Why doesn't someone just email the vendor of the lockpick device and see if they will work to convert the Gen 3 or Gen 4 Viper that is not a CANBUS system. From reading their description it sounds like that unit will do just that. (From the link provided by Cubican).
Got my PCM done just after my full Belanger kit went on the car, and I love the PCM.
Downside is the exhaust burble and decel pop is now gone, but after awhile I don't miss it.
If you have an 08 and get this PCM, you'll love the added PCM updates you'll get from the 09/10 computers as well as...
Finally got time to get back to the dyno after I put on my mods. Baseline results are in my first post.
Mods added since baseline are:
Full Belanger kit, hi flow cats.
Mopar PCM
New spark plugs (stock plug model)
AB Wires
Running 94 Octane
Results were:
Hot engine no cooldown. Humidity was...
Thanks to all for your input on this one.
Removed the RCA male ends on my harness adapter tonight, soldered them to the HU amp out wires and everything sounds great now, even better than stock!
To Nineball, RCC, and Red Snake,
Did you all bypass the factory amp with your HU install?
Or did you use the internal aftermarket HU amp and then run that into the stock factory amp?
There is no loudness feature on this deck, although there is -14 to +14 for Treble, Mids, and Bass, I have them all turned to +12 at the moment, just so I can somewhat listen to music.
Unlike your setup, I am not running an aftermarket sub/amp combo.
I will try to order up the other...
I also used a Plug and Play harness, follow the link below to which adapter I used.

I think I should get the harness that does not have the RCA connectors on the harness, but the harness that will allow me to connect up and...
I am thinking possibly that the stock head unit had an internal amp, then was amplified again by the factory external amplifier.
I wonder if I should get a different wiring harness and wire up the aftermarket head units internal amp, and if in doing so I would still be using the factory amp...
I wouldn't think that would matter as I am not even using the built in 4x55w amp in the new head unit, I have it wired out with a harness to use the factory amp. It was the ebay harness that was recommended by a couple other owners and worked out well for them.
