Great pics - thanks.
Maybe the 335 PS2s are wider than the Pirellis of Nittos, but I think the 345/19 PS2s are wider than the 335/20s, so I was thinking a 12.5 rim might look better than a 13 rim, but I guess the 13s look good ... Why did you go with 10.5s vs. 10s up front?
OMG!! Wouldn't it be great to beat somebody who stepped out of a car wearing an outfit with ALL of that stuff :rolaugh: ...(that's got to be the ultimate look in same-sex marriages)
I put the lowering caps on my '05 ...the front seemed fine, but the rear was bouncy as hell ...never could figure out why (same springs, but maybe bottoming out?)
Do you have any pictures? I like the idea of a slighty taller rear tire, especially since I do not plan to lower the car.
If the front is 19x10.5, what size rear rim are you running? I was thinking 20x12.5 with the more narrow 20/335 vs. stock 19/345 tire...
This is a Gen3/4 after-market product idea waiting to happen. :2tu: (Hello, anybody listening?) Copy the Vette piece but make a new mold that fits the contour of the Viper side sill and sticks on with 2-sided 3M tape - sell in painted Viper colors for $199 for a set of two ...or, the little...
My guess is the 'Whites' will be more different than people may realize ...Stone White vs. a much brighter, (rental car?) White (sorry) ...it will be interesting, so I'll reserve judgement until I actually see it on the car, but my guess is that it will be very different :eater:
This "stressed '08" idea has been floating around for a while now, and there's one problem with how you're quoting it (IMHO):
The '03-'06 engine is no stronger than the '08 engine. If the '08 really should get forged pistons (to run more than 650HP), then so should the '03s-'06s. :omg...
Did they put a clear bra on the front of it for you? or the black snap-on bra? You'll want it to avoid rock chips and a think layer of dead bugs. Watch out for dear on two-lane roads at night in TX. No joke. I know somebody that just about totaled their Viper by hitting a dear last year...
In fairness to convertibles, if you own and are driving the SRT convertible for the right reasons (e.g. great weather, open-air driving, etc.) you really can't even consider the ACR. I think the SRT coupe and the ACR are both kewl as hell, but in beautiful weather, my girl and I like almost...
I get frustrated debating stuff like this with my 14 y/o who only looks at the pictures and reads the headlines ...
That's are were all ripped off (on all topics) by a profit-driven media that makes news, rather than just reports it (if a Viper wins that's not news, but if the 'new' GT-R beats...
Sent to C&D today, as follows (but I doubt they'll print it):
"Ultimate Bogus Track Test?

This all reminds me of a super high-tech oil called Arco Graphite from back in the day when I was in HS (I think) -- it was black with bits of graphite in it! ...any takers for some old cans of that oil now?
