Get some pictures posted here of the engine compartment and exhaust system...close-ups of anything that you have concerns with and there are many that will let you know if it is stock or not and their best idea of the vendor if it's aftermarket...oh yeah...welcome.
No offense meant, but the title to the thread should be 'New MGW shifter knob installed....'. Shifter and shifter knob...completely different. Thanks for the comparison pictures though.
If you want real answers on big brake kits, call Mark at IPSCO (just Google 'IPSCO in Colorado' and you'll find him). He's had a hand in designing/manufacturing the BBK all the way back to Big Brake Dave and up to VipAir's newer kit. He'll let you know exactly what you need. He's a great guy...
Hey schabiazabi...you need to create a thread in the 'General Viper Discussion' forum letting us know who you are, why you're here...not personal info, but some real background stuff. I've been on here for 4-5 years and fluid recommendations (and there are tons of threads on this topic already)...
If you would read the thread from post #5 above......it's a 5/16 pipe plug socket...they came out smooth as silk...no problem.
Sybil TF...open up a Google search window and enter:
site:forums.viperclub.org Evans coolant
It will give you all the threads on this website about Evans...
Holger...PM me an email address and I will send you the 1997-98 Mopar Viper Parts Catalog. It shows a separator, but the diagram doesn't really look like the one pictured.
As for searching, I don't use the 'search' function on this site...open a GOOGLE search box and enter...
I was too lazy to go out to the garage earlier this AM to actually check my coolant bottles, but I just did and the coolant bottle (top) appears to be completely full and the coolant recovery bottle (in the fascia) is just below the MAX mark.
