Here are a couple pics.
The fascia has a series of nut plates along the front edge.
If the shape of the splitter is a "D", the straight aft edge would not be attached to anything - that's a long unsupported edge.
OR the splitter is a curved, maybe 8" wide piece, like a curved strip that extends...
This was an all 4 corners kit. Great price. Can't find where I talked about it.
It is used with straight spring coil-overs.
I seem to recall their website was very detailed about how to determine the fit and what is required to make them work.
I extended the wiring loom on the RHS to get a good routing but no good idea on the LHS. The O2 sensor is surrounded by frame and floor boards and the only up out of the "hole" is where the header tubes are.
I'm sure others have faced this problem and I'm betting have found a solution - I...
12 volt source:
It was an early 96 GTS install with the BK/OR wire as 12V source.
BK/OR is 12v in the RUN position only.
Roe's installation manual revised the BK/OR Run wire to the DB (Dark Blue) RUN & START wire.
WHY?
I can see issues with the RUN-START-RUN cycle which if BK/OR, energizes...
Thinking I should have changed the title to: Is there any reason to not remove a VEC1?
According to Roe website info for Calibrator in 2001: OE tune at high load is excessively rich (11.0:1) with little timing (18*), low and midload, lean and lots of timing (45*)
Cam: 224* @ .050, .550" @...
They are everywhere, but it would be nice to have a Reverse Lookup parts diagram. There should be a ton of them in the bone yards.
Anyone find any easy pickin's?
The screw is left 2 in this pic: It holds the dash trim panel under the column. It uses 4 or 5.
It is a "Flat Top Washer Head"...
I wonder if anyone did a series of dyno pulls to plot A/F ratio and timing?
SS offered the following voltage maps for their 4-knob uber MAP translator:
POWER DISTRIBUTION: I know where that is - above the PCM with the big threaded power stud.
FUSE BLOCK: Shown in FSM but have no idea where it's located in car
FUSE ACCESS: I know where that is, it's access cover is printed in white letters on the under dash access panel on side of dash by...
I think it's something like 13 different fasteners of 4 types requiring 4 different wrenches.
I wonder what the FSM says for alternator removal ... "DISCONNECT NEGATIVE CABLE FROM BATTERY..." Now why didn't I think of that...
This was a 1999 TNT heads/cam/headers/exhaust and a 150 shot from a NX200 nitrous all done no later than 1999.
What is the most likely reason to remove the cover?
Want to install. I think it will clear Hennessey but would be nice to know for sure AND how (???) do you fish the nut plate into the frame? (Does it fit thru that not-so-large round hole on the bottom?) Tried calling IPSCO today, no answer in afternoon, then busy for about an hour at the end...
It's a 1999 TNT heads, cam, headers, exhaust with other upgrades. Car has 90k on it. Could daily drive just fine as it is. The car is not perfect. It's modded. It's also a work in progress. Wondering how to approach BaT.
Was planning on the M10 power stud on the main fuse box but saw some articles of ways to tap using "tapping" fuse adapters.
Not keen on adding load to an existing fuse but something like cigarette lighter would be a candidate.
Are there any unused fuse or relay stations that have battery on one...
The new ones have "fingers" to keep window pin in center of slot. The old one did not.
QUESTION: Use "fingers" or grind out?
QUESTION: Anyone make higher quality ones? (These cost $8 shipped from Amazon - why pay $20 for garbage when you can pay $8 LOL!)
These are everywhere on eBay FOR...
These clips are everywhere for cheap on eBay, etc.
Is there a better grade available? (wouldn't be surprised the OEM used a different material like fiber reinforced nylon instead of just plain)
Also wondering if I'm doing something wrong having replaced 3 LHS and 1 RHS on my 96 GTS over the...
These existed many years ago, I think thru Roe Racing. There may have even been CD's.
I need parts manuals for 1996 and 2002 GTS: part numbers for oil pan, dipstick tube and dipstick.
Thanks
Tom
PS. I had these but I'm pretty sure they went bye bye when my HDD crashed on my primary computer...
Still trying to figure out how to pull a few degrees for a 150 shot in a 1996 GTS PCM. So far there isn't a clean solution. (I don't think there is a Lingenfelter "LNC-2000" for Viper.)
Then it occurred to me if E85 was used instead of gasoline (car remains fueled on gasoline) for the wet...
I'd love to find a 2-stage pump but that is a losing proposition. Aftermarket units are not 2-stage and the OE is only 190 lhp which is pretty wimpy and very unattractive considering used prices of a module ranging up to $1500.
A Gen 3 pump (255 lhp) would be a no-brainer but I don't think...
