I have a ton of Viper parts to sell. Products are in Sweden and I'm based in Sweden but no place to post a ad for my Viper parts.
Jan were do I post an ad to reach out to the Swedes?
There is two welded bolt threads behind your neck, but you have to remove the panel and replace it with a aftermarket piece with holes for the shoulder straps.
Below the seat you have one anchor point for the fifth point of the seat belt.
I'm driving the car, not riding... I will be a Jerico 4 speed, a DR4 Clutchless transmission. The NHRA regulation only allows you to use the type of transmission the car came with from the factory. We will probably switch to a 5 speed Liberty when my pile of $ is large enough.
Now back to were we are today.
I just received the dxf-file so that we can have the midplate cut. When we receive the plate will the next step be to move the engine to have it centered in the chassi (Stock engine is moved to the right...)

The chassie took about a year to complete, it's been sitting since then. The engine development did take longer...6 years. But now are we putting it all together, this week will the Engine midplate be cut and I will do a prototype of Header flange that I can sen to American Racing Headers to get...

Final look
One more pic from the build. (Looks like I'm not allowed to upload more pics! What to to?)
To be Super Stock legal you are not allowed to do what you want with the chassie.
The back half must be a "real" back half, you are not allowed to cut the floor, the stock frame must be intact from beind...
I'm not sure if your familiar with the NHRA Super Stock regulations, but they are as follows.
Stock Trottle Bodies
Stock Oil System
Stock volume/size of valves and intake/exhaust runners
Stock Compression
Stock Crank
Free Camshaft/Valvetrain
Free Intake
Free Exhaust
The Dyno showed +800 hp.
The first few pics from when the Viper arrived to the shop and the CM-chassi/back-half/cage was fabricated.
We started out with a slightliy front ended 99-GTS, tore it apart and sold off parts not needed :-) This was actually the Viper that "gave" the Viper sound to one of Microsofts racing...
6 years ago did I start a project with the intention to build a Dodge Viper for in my opinion one of the most challenging Drag Racing classes, Super Stock Eliminator (NHRA).
The GTS was bought from a Microsoft Executive and taken to Phil Mandella (PMR Race Cars) to be transformed to a Super...
