    Yep checked rockers and pushrods and even had an engine guy check them and measure them they are all the same and in perfect order.

    plugs are new, compression is stock and I have tried some different fuel. It is definately not detonation but there must be some reason why the rockers were touching the covers also. the noise is really hard to pin down to an area
