I have a triple black 2010 I have been thinking about parting with. All stock with the exception of a new stereo system I had installed. Brand new tires this year, 5 year ceramic coating last year and a new battery last month. Has just under 12K miles on it. I am the second owner. The car is...
KC Chief, I am in the process of getting new tires myself. Did the extra width in the front lead to any rubbing when turning? Did you go with the Contacts or Contact Sports?
Thx
It worked out good. I have since sold the car and upgraded to a Gen 4. I just put a new system in that one too. This time I had the guy modify the bezel to fit a 6" flat screen which I love. He also modified the space where the sub goes. Check out the pics on his Facebook page. Go to FB and type...
Yeah, they spent two days on the paint correction. Plus they took the wheels off the car to polish and coat them as well as the calipers. Not cheap but worth it to me.
I just picked up my Gen 4 today and when I got home and pulled the keys out of the ignition and the door contiues to chime when it is open. Messed with the keys in the ignition and few times and it still chimes every time the door is open with no keys. This can't be normal is it?
I had a 2004 and it had a carpeted trunk. I also pulled off the secondary cats and added Magnaflow exhaust. Sounded great! and did reduce the side sill heat and cabin heat. Plus it only cost me $800
Just purchased a Gen 4 in Ohio. Having it shipped to Washington next week. I put out a request on the Viper FB page to see if anyone would inspect it for me and sure enough a member did a complete inspection with numerous pictures and video for me. I flew out to Florida a couple weeks ago to...
Well they don't just sell the cover. It is all one piece. Now I can't even find headlight assemblies. I called basically every place I could find and all the Mopar parts dealers say they can't even order them until August. I found a pre-owned one for the drivers side on ebay now I just need the...
Unfortunately you're right. The covers aren't a separate piece, have to buy the complete headlight which is very spendy. Think I will just leave them as is for now. Thx for the feedback.
I purchased a 2004 from the original owner last year and he had put a clear protection over the hood and headlights. It has been on there for 15 years so I took it to a shop to have it taken off and some new protection reapplied. When they pulled it off the headlights the lens covers had...
To be honest I have only driven the car a couple times since I had it installed (rainy season in Seattle) That being said it sound GREAT!. I love the flip up screen. It does interfere with the heating/cooling vents but not a big deal. I also had Infinity speakers, Kicker Sub and a 2,000 watt amp...
I am not sure what I am going to do with the stock unit. Was thinking about keeping in case I sell the car and the new owner wants to return it to stock. If I change my mind I will let you know.
Went with a Pioneer 3300NEX. It has a retractable screen plus Apple Car Play/Android Auto and a backup camera. Also going with Infiniti speakers, Kicker Sub and Pioneer Amp. I will let you know how it sounds when I get it installed.
This one is going to interfere with the vents as well. There are very few options available without having to modify the bezel and I want to keep it as stock as possible. This unit does however still operate with the screen in the retracted position in case I am in desparate need of the A/C
Thanks MoparMap. I think I found a good option. Pioneer makes a system with a screen that flips out and retracts that has everything I want plus it fits in my car with no modifications.
Looking into upgrading my stereo to something with Apple Car Play/Android Auto. But I am finding it difficult due to the OEM 1.5 DIN stereo. Don't want to modify the bezel if at all possible. Anybody out there done this?
Thx
