I agree its a journey but one worth the effort.
I have just completely rebuilt a 93 RT/10 from top to bottom and front to back
Not cheap but its now like a brand new car
I Have the same tag on my 93 RT/10 which is production number 944. the tag reads
TJ 2047-3 CHR
Mine came off the production line in June 93.
Maybe it is the sequential number of the hoods built
Yours being 2801 and mine being 2047 which makes sense if yours is a 94 model.
That's all I can think of
Hi David Hinrichs
I found a stock stereo in Australia for my 93 Gen 1
I know he has a few
Send him an email his name is Dion.
[email protected]
Cheers
David
Well said DJ's Viper
I have a 93 model with Factory AC and in kph. A metric car with 17,000km.
Factory everything and has the seat belts coming from the waterfall like the later Gen 2 and not from the door
1 letter on the vin is different for automatic seatbelts.
Mine was number 944 of the 1000...
Rustoleum paint in Granite is a very good match to the original grey. I was going to paint mine black but wanted to keep it as close to original as possible and the Granite colour from Rustoleum is good for metal, plastic and wood.
Thanks ViperJay for your pics on how to disassemble the dash...
My Car is a 93 with no antenna and the battery accessible behind the left rear wheel.
As Seniorstore keeper says the 93 had the antenna till they depleted stocks and changed.
ViperRed VIN number VIN: 1B3BR65E0PV200316 would probably be one of the last antenna cars.
My VIN is 1B3CR65E1PV200944...
I have a Gen 1 1993 with Factory Air conditioning and the seat belts coming from the waterfall and not teh door like the Gen 2 96 model.
Was a Canadian export car and speedo is in Kph (320)
Just getting it back on the road.
Had been sitting for the last 20 years with an original 17,000kms
