I am considering selling my 00 GTS and trying to figure a good selling price for advertising purposes. It has 5500 miles, late 2000 manufacture date, red no stripes, Master Care ext warranty until Jan 08. Excellent condition.

I think I would just keep it at 46. Thanks for the reply.

Private party, I'd say $46ish.

I think that was an offer not a true value!

Sorry, but no. It looks like a real nice car, but I'm looking for an 01 for the ABS. Got to sell my car first too. I watched several low mile 01 GTS's go for $50-$53 (no accidents) and a 2000 GTS book value is around 5K less.

Although a lot of the cars on this site in the classifieds are nice cars, I feel some of those people are dreaming with the selling prices they post. But hey... that's why America's great!

"book value" doesn't mean a damn thing on these cars.

Unless I run into some major financial problems, I think I would just keep my Viper for 2 or 3 more years, put an additional 25,000 miles on it, use the remainder of the warranty until 08, and then sell it for $46ish. No reason to give it away and drive down the market at the same time.

I asked a friend of mine, who deals in Viper sales. He said if you posted it on ebay or Auto traider for $54,999.00 you could sell it for about $50k-$52k

I've got to much into mine to ever sell it. I just have to buy a third garage if I want another car.

With 5,500 miles, keep it and drive it 1,000 miles a year. Enjoy every mile, four years from now you'll have less than 10k on it and probably get far more than now, especially since its a GTS.
