I just bought a used '05 SRT/10 convert with less than 11,000 miles on it, trading my ole reliable '96 GTS to Ringgold Dodge, but the engine light on the SRT came on (constant, not flashing). A non-Viper dodge dealer scanned it to tell me the first-third shift had coded. Whew! A car new to me and the engine light comes on. Scary. Anyway, is this a common problem, or is it easily fixed as on the Gen II, by pulling the plug and wrapping tape around it?
A second question is why I can feel the power steering pulsing all the time, even when stopped and not moving the steering wheel? Is this common to these cars? It's almost completely fullof power steering fluid, within 1/4" of full, so might it have air in the system? If so, how would this be corrected? Thanks.
