I have a non antenna 93. My battery is located in the drivers side rear fender well. My coolant bottles are in the passenger sider front fender well. Is this the most common setup for the 93 model year? The owners manual has the coolant listed in the right spot. However it still says the battery is in the trunk. Thanks for you time.

the antenna '93's are a continuation of the '92's. Here's some information from the Viper Registry on the running changes in '93 At approx. build date 04/04/93 following changes occurred:
  1. Rear antenna replaced by windshield antenna wire
  2. Battery relocated to left rear fender (side away from fuel filler to make room for BUX rear exit exhaust)
  3. Front caliper lettering changed from "VIPER" to "RT/10"
  4. Reverse lockout added to transmission
  5. Top Material Changed from Vinyl to Cloth

' 93 is a strange one. Mine is an early '94 (12,'93) .. Look at the build date to know were yours fits in... I have books for '94,95 if you need a virtual hand.....

Find the wizard.....

Thanks for the replies. I was more or less just curious what others had for 93 models. I think I got a cloth top and no reverse lock out.

What's your build date and last 4 digits of VIN#. That's the best way to pin it down.

Your vin # is a tell also... I beleave anything over 0480 (480) 1993s received the rubber exhaust hangers, over the spring type 92 early model 93s, reverse lockout... also has magnesium manifold.

If I remember correctly, VIN# 605 was the cut off for end of rear fender antenna cars.
