1996 Pace Car Decals

I have a box of pace car decals for my 96 gts, what are they worth?
How many sets are there? Are these collectors items?

I think only about 150 sets were ever made. They sell on eBay once in a while for around 300.00 I would keep them.

This sounds stupid, but how do you know if you have a pace car?

Everyone that owns a 1996 GTS has a pace car. Dodge chose not to place the decals on the cars like Chevrolet does. The decals were an after thought. Some owners have placed these on their cars.

Is this a true statement? I thought that the pace cars for the 96 500 had strobe lights?

All 96 GTS Vipers are considered pace cars.

The actual pace car did have strobe lights. It also had a sunroof, which looked very strange. I doubt anyone here has the GTS sunroof option.

Steve, I think he was talking about the real pace cars, which did have a sun roof. But you are right about the production vehicles, there wasn't a sun roof option.
