There seem to be 2 HF cats commonly used. The Random Flow and the Sean Roe (poetry w/o effort). I have installed Sean Roe's oval HF cat and find the side sills are much cooler when the car can be driven and a little cooler when stuck in traffic. Not very technical but hopefully you understand. Although I have no way to directly compare the 2 I would imagine there is little difference. You might want to make a call to Sean Roe and get his opinion. He's a straight shooter and won't "sell" you.

Good luck!

Corsa quotes +18HP with the 3" on a stock Viper, with stock cats. Zero on the 2.5".

You can do it now or do it later, but someday you'll want 3".......

I went with the 2.5" Corsa because they were half of the price of the 3" version, and I was going more for the better sound than the extra HP. I had a Corsa on my last Corvette and it was great because it has a nice, low, throaty burble, but not too loud at idle or cruising, but when you step on it, the sound is mean/powerful, but not with boomy resonance.

I also added Sean Roe high flow cats (the bigger ones), but again more for the lower sill temperature than the added power.

Both have done exactly what I wanted. The sound of the car is powerful but civil (unless you floor it), and the side sills are noticably cooler than stock, yet passed emmissions testing easily.
