Guys,

I'll be picking up a Gen I roadster within the next week. I was wondering if anybody has photos of what this car looks like with 20" wheels? I like the 5 spoke look of the 97 wheels, but I really want to go with a 19 or 20 inch set up, if possible. The newer cars are going with 19's and most of the prototype cars that look so fabulous at car shows are running 20's. That being said, I wanted to see what an RT/10 looks like with those and what manufacturers sell them in the Viper wheel size?

I had 19" HRE 547's on my Vette and it looked beautiful.

By the way, if anybody has a modded RT/10 that's priced in the 30's, email me at sales (at)gigatechsoftware (dot) com.

And if anybody has some 97 chromed wheels for sale, I'm also interested. I didn't see any in the classifieds here.

Thanks,

Manny

Manny, the only problem I see with running 20" wheels on any Viper is that you will be very limited in regards to tire choices & and they do cost mucho $$$$.

Black Viper RT/10 with chromed 20" Startech wheels.

Yellow Viper RT/10 with 19" VR1 Forgeline wheels.

I think that it would be better to go with the 19" VR1 Forgeline wheels. They look awesome, and they are about 8 lbs. lighter than stock Viper wheels.

As for the Startech wheels, though they look totally stunning in person, when chromed - I took this pic myself, so I know - they are about 12 lbs. heavier than stock Viper wheels.
