I don't know how to start this message because I am so pissed right now I'm shaking. I just went to start my 2001 GTS that I bought new on May 19. Well I noticed that it was a bit hard to start and when it did it blew a bunch of gray smoke out of the passenger side exhaust. The gray smoke subsided after about 1 minute and it continued to spew steam that has the wonderful smell of anti freeze. How the **** could a head gasket be blown with only 2,500 hundred miles???? The voices in my head are telling me to clean my guns and pay Tempe Dodge a visit, and thats why I thought I'd try to keep my cool and rely on you folks for some good advice. Has this happened to anyone else? Your comments would be greatly appreciated!! I'm tempted to fight them for my money back.

Thanks,
Jim

Jim ,Don't get mad at the dealer yet. They did not build the car give them a chance to see what is going on.A cool head will get your problem resolved much faster. If Tempe Dodge cant help then get in touch with Eddie Martin at Bill Luke and he will do his best to help you out.Hope everything works out for you.

Thanks for the advice Tom. I will give Eddie Martin a call. I've heard good things about his mechanical abilities with Vipers. Tempe Dodge has given me nothing but bad service so its real easy for me to rag on them. Also, the added adrenalin gets me going.....all better now (well almost).

Sounds like a good opportunity to get some head mods done. I would consider it a blessing in disguise.

( especially if you can get the dealer to chip in some money )

Your reading my mind! I'll do a search on porting and rocker arms.
