If the 2001 has stripes then the invoice is $72,500 I believe, so buying a brand new car under invoice is still a good deal.

Bought my 01 gts last year.Paid invoice plus 1000 or 69 something.No stripes no miles,brand new.I would guess that you should pay invoice minus 4-5000 for a 1 year old car with no miles.Any miles and it is used and subtract more.Go in with the correct attitude.That is:You don't need their car but they need a buyer.Be prepared to sit down and haggle for a few hours.Don't be afraid to get up and walk away.Remember that you don't need them or their car.They need you.I would not pay more than invoice minus 2000 for a 1 year old no miles car.Lotta nice cars out there for that kind of money and some of them are Vipers.Have fun,use your head.You can get emotional with the add-ons and up grades.
