Drove the car home 1300 miles and only a few questions. Drivers window travels up to far and causes terrible sound, maybe the last 1/4 like the window is gonna brake. And it bottoms out going down.
It seals thats for sure, drove through a couple of monssoms. 6'3" tall and absolutely no problem with comfort.
One more question lug nuts 100 ft lb torque?
Thanks, the window will drive me nuts.

There were some issues on windows, details are fuzzy at the moment...ask Mr. Tator. That said, they are designed to stop short when closing door, then go full up when door closed...and the reverse upon opening. Mine ARE noisy as well.

I torque to 90 ft.-lbs.

My 04 does it on driver side when vert top in up position. I have tried the learn thing with the switch at center console and it worked for a while but then once it started raising over the A pilar it kept doing it.

I have had the car for 1.5 years and rather than spending 1k on a new regulator which is what I was told it would cost. I now close door when top up by putting pressure on the rubber/plastic triangle peice at front bottom corner and that pressure gets the window to seal.

If I am in the car I have to lower the window a bit manually, close door and then raise it manually for it to seal. Otherwise like the above poster, I get major wind noise comming inside from the gap of window leaning against the exterior windsheild holder which I think is what is the A pilar? It's a pain, but I have just learned to live with it since I don't want to replace the regulator and love my car.

Passenger side has never done this at all.

mine was doing this on both sides..luckily I still have warranty and the dealer replaced both regulators and the plastic guides as well..

things perfect now..But they said it would have been close to 4k if I had to fix it without the warranty??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's not a relearn issue. You need a new regulator.

Bill

And i read they go for a grand. Think i will just be careful and bring it up to seal and thats it. I dont feel like dumping to much more money in this investment. Im having a clear coat restore now for 450, and the place doing it told me they can bring the car back to showroom condition, or the job is free. Being in the hot Florida sun for 7 years has been brutal on the paint.
So im going to be driving what looks like a brand new viper, love it.Now all i need is to find a job and its all good LOL.
Thanks again guys.
