Great news to you that are looking for protection from rock and debris! Ryan emailed me from ultra sheild. He is running another sale for the Viper Club!

He has them for all years including computer pre-cut out for the 2003 SRT-10. Give him a call for more details.

For all Viper kits including the 2003 Viper (Hood, Fenders, Mirrors, Bumper & Lower Fascia) – $350 (Installationand shipping not included)

So far we have found the lowest price on the web to be $479 from Armoufend USA.

I have a local guy who does entire front end/hood/headlights/foglights/roof/side view mirrors for $550.00 and he uses the good 3M stuff not the cheap imitations.

They can also sell you the 3M kits if you want to do them yourself, but unless you are a master at putting it on it will come out like crap.

I really need to see a car with this stuff installed. I'm a skeptic. How does it look? How will it look down the road? How will it look if you take it off?

Any clear bra will be obvious on the car. You will see the lines where it ends and you will see a little more uneven appearance because the 3M has a different and more imperfect surface pattern than a fine paint job.

But you know what is even more obvious? Nicks, scratches, and hunks taken out of the paint due to rocks, sand, cats, etc. I would much rather see a little line or uneven appearance than a permanent nick, especially where tire thrown sand and rocks rip up the wheel well edges.

The stuff is great.

I too wish I could see a professional installation. I am sure a professional installation would be much better than the satisfactory (to me) jobs I have done.

PS: Thanks for the pricing and tips, ab.

If you want best results have it done professionally. They use entire sheets and stretch it out to fit. Thats the way I saw it applied.
My friend Ben Roberts aka Vanquish has it on his 96 GTS and it looks nice but as abocve mentioned and well said its a better alternative to debris damage to your clearcoat, paint and possibly body due to road debris.

Hers a pic.......

Can't really see it in those pics. I'd definitely have to see it in person before I'd slap it on my baby!

I know you guys are sick of this picture
of me, but I have the clear bra on this silver
baby. Notice how it shines a bit more on the
nose than the rest of the body? I think the
lines will show more on the black cars than
silver or lighter cars. If you are worried
about lines showing, use alcohol to wipe
down any residue of wax an whalla, the
film becomes invisable again!!

My buddy has one on his Boxster. I think it's looks great or should I say that the fact that you can hardly see it makes it look great. Definately on my list.

I don't have it on my hood. Just the front fascia. I'm saving up to get my hood.

If you look real close to the bottom right of my car under my clear side marker lights, you can barely see the outline of the clear bra. I put it on for the first time and did an okay job. I know if I had to do it the 2nd time around it would be perfect! It wasn't too hard to do, just time consuming but well worth the peace of mind!

I had Ryan put the 3M film on my Viper last year and I love it. You can't tell that it is there unless you look real close. I also have the headlight and fog light film which is much thicker. Email me if you would like to see some photos.
