My driver side window slots are out of whack and the window hooks won't fit all the way in. Is there anything tricky about them or can I just remove the door panel and readjust them? It looks like the door panel might be misaligned a little which is what I am hoping the problem is.

I had a similar issue on my passenger side where I had to tilt the window towards the interior of the car to get "tab A in slot B". I have since discovered that my interior panel was not as tight to the door as it could have been, and the window will now likely align better (weather is so good, I haven't checked).
Shine a flashlight in the slot and see if you can see what the alignment issue is.

Tim, I had a similar problem. The receiver in the door had opened up slightly allowing the window arm to slip in between the body of the receiver and the spring. Relatively simple to repair once door panel is removed.

Problem solved - I just removed the one screw that holds on the upper seat belt bracket and was able to pop the panel back into place. Now I will be able to use those new Vipermania windows ;)

Thanks!
