I asked an airbrush artist (who typically works on Harleys) to create a mural for my garage. I picked up the final product on Friday and haven't had a chance to hang it yet, I wanted to share it with those of you who might be interested. Fortunately for me but unfortunately for the purposes of this post, the picture does not do the mural justice. The detail is much better than the picture represents and I obviously have some room for improvement in using my digital camera.

and this one is a close up of the "kill" pile. Again the detail is much better in real life. notice the manufacturers emblems on the skulls

My original thought was that your "kill" pile should include such things as Porsches, Ferraris, Corvets, BMWs, etc. Upon closser inspection I see the forheads of the skulls, very subtle.
VERY NICE !!!

I like it!! I like it a lot!! If you don't mind me asking how much did it cost? Does he do other designs? I have one wall left open in the garage and something like that would be perfect!

Thanks Ruckdr I appreciate the compliment.

GTZviper. Thank you. It was more than I should have probably paid for "garage art" and more pathetically the most expensive pc of art I own. The guy does really nice art and follows your lead as to what you're looking for. That one is 4 foot X 8 foot and depending on what you're after you'd be looking at around $3k.

Jimandela. I could email you a high res file that could perhaps be printed out by a print shop to what ever size you'd like. Let me know if you'd like me to do that.

Thanks Paul. I'm pretty happy with the way it came out. The wife is not all that happy with me about the whole thing though. She doesn't get the whole Viper thing. I'm pretty sure she likes her minivan more than the Viper. Oh well.

Awesome Phil! Make sure to send Viper Magazine a few photos (or better yet, negatives) when it's mounted!

Hi Joe and thanks for the compliment and good idea about sending the mag a negative.

Runnr. I'd be happy to send a file to you. I'm going to try and get a better digital shot to start with and then can get everyone a decent file. What format would you need it in?

Phil
