I went to look at a 94 viper for $35,000 that sounded to good to be true..Well anyway it had 28,000 mi on it and looked horrible! The paint was faded a little(swirls and hazy), the tires were BALD,BALD,There was oil leaking from the both sides of the valve covers AND oil pan seal, the interior looked like it was NEVER cleaned! The carpet was dirty and stunk. The owner said he changed the oil last winter.Would you buy it????

I want to get a CLEAN Viper for a reasonable cost with out getting ripped off or a jalopy with a million problems. What should I do???

Fantastic, low mile, well cared for Vipers are available for only a few thousand $$$ more than trashed cars. The money will be well spent to purchase a fairly priced "creampuff" rather than a cheaper "******".

Vipers are inexpensive to maintain, but very expensive to restore.

Look to the classified. It is very expensive to be a bottom feeder in the Viper marketplace.

This spring I bought my 93: 2000 miles, EXCELLENT condition, no modifications ----> $39,500. I found it on the classifieds on THIS SITE.

Keep looking, don't accept a ****** like that (unless for a lot less)

"Would you buy it?" Come on, didn't the first part of your post answer that question. Read what you wrote. If the exterior is wasted, what do you think what you can't see looks like?

People like that make my blood pressure rise. They should take pried in owning one of the best American sports cars as well as the world! Any other car with such power and performance straight from the box would cost the price of a house. Some people don't deserve these kind of cars even if they can afford them.
Drive them fast, but treat them right. Just my opinion.

Don't buy it! I'll never understand people that own a nice car and don't take care of it. I saw a Ferrari 328 GTS yesterday that was in a similar state as the description you gave and I was absolutely shocked at the lack of upkeep.

Be patient and you'll find a good deal.
