ACR rims - GROUP PURCHASE - Please Read

I 'may' be able to purchase authentic OEM 2001 ACR rims (BRAND NEW IN BOX) for an incredible price. Does $4,000 for an entire set interest anyone? I know they list for around $2,200 each, so this price seems fantastic.

Front are OSM08WD2AA (LIST - 2188 each).
Backs are OSM09WD2AA (LIST - 2225 each).

I'm curious as to why the rims cost so much to begin with (retail)? You can get a set of new BBS LMs for about $3600 through tirerack.

Not sure?
What happens then to my stock wheels? Sit in the basement and get dust covered? If i could trade in my stock wheels for something ($) then upgrade i might.
