ACR seat/ Anti-submarine harness

Is the ACR seat exactly the same than the GTS ?
If so,the anti-submarine belt must go in front/around the the front part of the bottom seat cushion.
In this case,at least with the factory seat,the belt cannot work the way it is designed to since there is about 6"/8" between the front part of the cushion and your crotch/release buckle.
Am I missing something here?

Sliding forward 6-8 inches won't be very pleasant but its still better than having to have somone scrap what used to be you out of the footwell. Bruce

Well, it depends on the size of your crotch!

Sorry, couldn't help myself. You have a valid point. I find the anti-sub belt does help to keep the harness held low on your gut and really allow you to crank down on the over-the-shoulder belts. And like Bruce said, 6" is better than the footwell.
