For those curious about Viper air filters choices, here are a few shots for review. Black gasket with white paper is Dodge OEM, orange gasket with white paper is Fram CA8093, and the dark thin one is K&N.
While there is no doubt K&N's (and I'm sure other similar flters like S&B, etc.) make horsepower (almost 12 in my case) there has been many discussions on this board and others about how well an oiled cotton media filter really filters. I have yet to find a definitive test on the subject, so I make no comment. Conversation starter only....
