ALARM SET light won\'t turn off!

Okay, it's not that big of a problem, but it's EXTREMELY annoying. I went out yesterday to start my 1994 RT/10. It started to turn over, but then died. "That's unusual," I thought. The second try it fired right up, and the "ALARM SET" light turned on. This in itself is unusual since I don't even have a factory alarm. I recently had a new alarm installed, but it isn't wired to the ALARM SET light. I took it back to the guy who installed the after factory alarm, but he said its nothing he did. PLease help, what am I suppposed to do?!

I've had the same problem with my 93. Have'nt figured it out yet.The thing I'd like to know is how your alarm guy disabled the factory alarm. I've been told that there is no way to disable it, my alarm guy called viper and other aftermarket alarm co.'s and couldn't get an answer.
