With only 84 made, how the heck did 5 end up on eBay at once??? Did people not like the color? They looks good but I am not sure if I am a huge fan when they are in the extreme sunlight. Looks too light. Anyone in the market??:

Lots of blues for sale over the past several months (vert and coupe). It has me wondering what the blue production really is and how anyone can really verify it???

I think with the blue convertibles, since they were only 84 of them, the dealers tried to get top dollar and are now stuck with them as they are not any more special that any other 06.

What I think is happening is that the people selling them realize how hot these cars look and that they are rare and want to move them for some quick money. I love that blue on the verts. Certain colors on the viper give you certain feelings when you look at them. The blue just looks sleek and mean.

Carnac the magnificent, great predictor of EBay Viper values strikes again, with one mighty stroke of his keyboard driving down resale values for all. C'mon Keith, they only made 84 GTS Blue Convertibles, but they are no more special? Actually there were 74 made for US distribution and one has been wrecked so 73 are left. But even at total production of 84 world wide that makes it the lowest production color of ANY SRT Convertible from 2003 through 2006.

Hey, I am just playing it as I see it. Quite a few dealers have the blue ones still available. Wanted to ask and see if anyone knew why. Maybe they are not as special as they wanted them to be.

I think that it was just a timing issue.
The blue SRT-10s were definitely a limited edition model, but I do think that a couple dealers snatched up more than they would normally have bought, thinking that people would be drawn to them. It' is my favorite color, and if I was looking for a new Viper, I'd definitely want one of these (with the Paxton added). But all of the SRT-10 Viper convertibles were overshadowed by the new Viper Coupe this year.

There are certainly a lot of red and black Vipers up for sale as well, and I just think that the dealers are trying to move their inventory before the end of the year. Winter is a tough time for car sales in general, and Viper convertibles are an even harder sell in winter.

You got that right, the blue is definitely a nice color difference. By the way, how many miles you have on the ACR Snakester? Your car is one of the best raffle cars EVER made!!
