was wondering if stock 05 viper has aluminum fly wheel or nt, if not would you see any gains.

Most have taken theirs off on G2s. Might be the Al to clutch disc friction thing causing problems. I've read where guys machine their steel flywheels thinner for weight reduction. (it wasn't on Vipers..)

Stock flywheels are not aluminum. You do lose some low end torque from using such as there is less rotating mass at low RPM's. Aluminum is good when racing as the RPM's on a road course are high all the time. Mopar makes a good compromise, part number P4510169
