Not from experience, but just from what I've read on this board, the larger TBs rob low end torque and do little or nothing for power unless considerable mods are made, i.e. heads, cam.

My plan is headers then polished/ported heads. Intake after heads (I've already got smooth tubes and K&N). Don't know if I'm right or not. I've heard that a good head job can net some decent hp, 40-60. No jokes please.

--You need SERIOUS external(headers/HFcats/HF exh) and internal motor mods-- headwork, roller rockers, honed manifold--to benefit from any TB larger than 65mm. {I was not aware of a 68mm option.....70mm is frequently offered)

--ORECA won FIA, LeMans, and Rolex with SERIOUS restrictors, 35-50mm as I recall !!!!

-- If you believe that droop-snoot cone filters that eliminate and by-pass your NACA, and instead **** hot flowing air from behind the radiator will help HP, I have some 50HP floormats to sell you.

-- Bang-for buck, a de-baffled OE airbox will still utilize the cool-air NACA, add about 5-9 HP (year dependant) for under $275. And you KEEP your OEM Airbox !
