An extra 150 HP won\'t void my warranty

I just heard from an "official" chrysler arbitor that the planned 150Hp increase I want won't void my warranty!
I asked how this could be and the response was as long as I use mopar parts and Chrysler shop for head work (same place that makes the race heads) my warranty can't be voided.

Has anyone else heard this before?

This is very exciting, if true, as the cost for this 150Hp increase is just under $10K. Seams too good to be true, but it may be...Any thoughts on this?

Thought #1: What D-C parts + headwork alone will achieve 600HP?

Thought #2: If you have the name and documentation from the "Official DC Arbitor" then why look further?

Thought #3: "Chrysler Shop for headwork" .... D-C Vendor is NOT a "Chrysler Shop" to mu way of thinking....

3 thoughts......headache now. Must sleep..... Id e-mail you, but..............

Warranty issues are at the discretion of the dealer... I overlook a lot of mods that roll through my door. It also has a lot to do with the owners attitude during the repair procedure. At my dealership we do tons of high performance work, and unless it is an obvious case of abuse, we cover anything that is under the customer's plan. My service manager is thrilled to have the business of upper end car owners, and with todays economy, we are not going to turn down any work.
