Another New 9 Second Viper by BTR Performance.....

Congrats to Lee and Joe Saunders. Their 96 GTS BTR 750 SS layed down a 9.92 at 146 mph today at Desoto Motorsports Park in Bradenton, Florida.

This was their very first pass at todays event, which had about 8 Vipers in attendance. It was a "funday Sunday" event that Desoto has once a month.

Saunders car is a 1996 GTS with our 750 SuperSnake Package. The car has the STOCK CAM. Lee's 60' time was 1.41

There is a video of the run and a timeslip that I hope gets posted shortly.

This now makes (2) BTR cars that have ran in the 9's in the last 30 days. The list will continue to grow as this guaranteed and proven package is being installed on several cars at present.

Sundays are magical in Florida. I was there to see both Florida Vipers join the 9 sec. club.

Both on Sunday. Both Tom & Lee 's cars made it on the first pass. Both cars only made one pass . Lee only hit the Nitruos in mid second gear. The two car's have lower E.T.s in them.

There was an another fierce drag war going on in Bradenton between 2 girls racing there 96-97 blue & white GTS. Both cars look identical,they ran numerous times . I never found out who won most of the races . Chuck Babel sure missed out on this one, I sure he could have given the girls some good pointers. Hats off to the girls they did a good job of race wars.
