Any guesses as to mods for the future 03?

Hello;

I am curious as to whether or not the 03' will come with K&N's, good headers, etc. I know that there is a lightweight flywheel in the 03', but I am really wondering what goodies we will be able to upgrade!

Oh, I almost forgot... I hope D/C will put a programmable remote garage door opener in the 03'! It always seems to be a nuisance to store those suckers, especially if you need to carry a couple of them.

Dodge will produce a car that meets federal standards. The add-on products are meant to provide you with the sound, performance or look that each person might want to make there Viper personal. That being said, you can probably expect many of the same aftermarket products that the current Viper and many other sports cars have.

I think I've read somewhere, maybe the Viper Mag that the exhaust was replaced on an '03 with a free flowing system and it picked up 20 rwhp. So that's a start.

IMHO DC has done no tweaking of the car like GM has done to the Z06. They increased the displacement by 17 cubes so that's good for 20 HP then they increased the peak HP to 5,600RPM which is good for the other 30HP so there's your 50HP increase. If DC would put some effort into a good set of headers, better heads/valve train, free flowing exhaust they could easily pick up another 50-75HP
