Thinking about retiring my soft top someday and if I look for a used hardtop, the odds of finding a green one are low. So maybe I'd get a black one, which made me wonder about others that might have put a non-car colored hardtop on. Anyone have pictures?

Second, anybody mix and match side sill colors? Just curious.

Tom I may be getting rid of my solid one piece hardtop and going to a 3 piece that can go in the trunk. I love the one piece but I have to leave it home for the day if I'm going *******. Mine came from Mach 7. heres the link

I had a green V-Mania on my 95 and it looked perfect. But I think Biff is out of the biz now. I had a white with blue stripes Autoform I bought from Jon B for my 05 Comm Edition that was also perfect and I liked the top better. Don't know if they are still around but I bet Jon can find a green one if anyone can.

Just remember the only hardtop that isn't noisy and may not leak is the one on a coupe, but they are still worth having.

Nope, I like the smoothy look. In fact, now that I have rear exhaust on my Gen 1, I might go with Gen 2 sill covers. Smooth hood, smooth sides, Max' smooth roof... no vents or wings of any color. Stealthy. Your ying to my yang again.

I wanna see pics!! Black top with black sills on a green gen 1.. hummm.. Sounds kinda cool to me. I might add black stripes to it when it's time to repaint.... Could be an interesting combo.
