Any "Viper friendly" emissions centers in Chicago?

Any \"Viper friendly\" emissions centers in Chicago?

Just got my notification to take the Viper in and get emissions certified. Does anyone have suggestions on which center to take it to? I've heard there are some in the western suburbs that are friendly to exotic cars. I don't want some 18 year-old flit boy saying "Hey y'all, watch this" as he hooks my car to the treadmill...

I would think that anywhere you go, the facilities are the same. In Linconlnwood on Touhy Avenue (Near Touhy and McCormack) There is an emissions center where you can see everything that the technician is doing with your car. Wouldn't you think that with a big ticket item you could go to the emission center's mgmt and request someone that meet your requirement of responsibility?

Just got the same notice. I was told to go to the one in Naperville by the Aurora train station. Ask to speak to a manager and explain to the manager that this is a "classic" car, and you would like the test done the old way, versus the "treadmill." Let me knwo how this goes!!!!
