Anyone painted stripes though tag area on 06 coupe?

When my car sells, I'll be picking up an 06 coupe. I have my eye on a few color combinations, but was curious if anyone has repainted the hatch to have the stripes run through the tag area, ala 1996 GTS. If so, got some pics?

If not, Austin...are you busy?

I wish my 06 had come like that. Just makes the stripes appear more finished. A lot of people seem to think my stripes are vinyl, partly because of that reason, and partly because they are painted on top of the clearcoat and have an edge like vinyl does.

I have vinyl stripes on mine for the time being and they do not go through the plate area. When I add my '08 hood, I will have the stripes added and they will definitely be going though the plate area. It just looks much more "complete" to me.

What timing...

My slate with white stripe 06 coupe is in the body shop right now.
I am getting the stripes painted through the license area. I am hoping to get car back this week.
