I know Chris Marshall has ran his before with dyno sheets. Also 1Tony1 drove a 03' SRT to a impressive 12.3 at the V-10 Nationals this past week-end.

Well, I haven't lined up with a stock Gen II yet (don't know if there are any left in Kansas City), but do think the SRT could squeak out the win with similar driver's in the 1/4 mile. I don't have my timeslip in front of me, but I think I did a horrible 2.16 60' time and still managed a 12.26 in the SRT. This was the first time out with the car after I botched the first run (spun through two gears and missed another). Never got a chance to run it again (yet). My 2000 GTS, which was VERY strong, never could break into the 11's with my moderate driving skills (best of 12.04 @ 121 mph). I am willing to bet I hit them in the SRT the next time I go to the track. Same moderate skills and all. Wish there were some stock or even modified Gen II's to run here. Well, except for those dang blower and nitrous machines... ;)

I'm suppose to run one, but the owner seems to have chickened out. Maybe he will see my post and chime in.

Pdmracig,

As I stated in an earlier post, I asked Tony not to lite up the tires and take it easy on the start. He had a 2.2 r/t an a 2.? 60'. And he still mananged to get a 12.39. I not trying to brag on the car, just why Tony did what he did.

There were no other SRT/10's there. So we did not get to race them. So I don't know how fast the car is.

Thanks

Dean

Be carefull what you believe in the magazines, Motor Trend & Car& Driver both use CORRECTED figures in the road tests according to articles published in the mags. I wonder if all the mags publish corrected times?

Read the earlier article in motor trend a few months ago they said they correct all times for sea level, humidity, temp ect. The times may be ok for a comparison but as for real world???
