I installed the Snakebox last week and have driven a total of 542 miles since then, including several miles on the East Road Course at Pocono on Saturday. Thus far, the Snakebox has delivered the advertised results - low speed engine surging and sputtering have been eliminated; the foul exhaust odor has been dramatically reduced (I suspect this is attributable to running on the a/f ratio map rather than open loop and full rich); the c/e light precipitated by the rear O2 sensor reading has been eliminated; engine power feels crisper (probably due to restoration of a normal a/f ratio). I still have a c/e light, the cause of which is either a malfunctioning front O2 sensor or insufficient front O2 sensor temperature, the latter necessitating that the sensor be relocated further upstream in one of the primary header tubes (not a desirable alternative). This condition is not remedied by the Snakebox, nor were there claims to that effect.

Bottom line – thus far the Snakebox delivers as advertised!

Glad to see everyone is happy with the results. We have over 15 other owners that have experienced the same results!

Anyone running without cats on a 96 and later Viper who is sick of the annoying surging/bucking experienced at light throttle, now is your chance to make this a thing of the past.

For anyone with a 98 and later Viper running without cats, we can cure the surging and turn off the c/e light (for cat failure).

As we have always stated, the Snake Box does not cure the 02 heater code that occurs in 99+ Vipers due to the location of the front 02 sensors.
Thanks again!
