Are these any good?

i did at one time see something saying they actually flow better and clean better than the k&n.Is anyone here using these filters?

The S&B's are a little better with the air flow! Will you notice the difference, no.

They look almost identical except the pleats run in different directions.

I have the S&B's and between that and the smooth tubes I noticed a slight improvement. It could have just been the first time I drove it with the new filters we had much cooler air which I know helps alot but regardless I felt a difference.

The 'horsepower gained' difference between different brands of aftermarket filters probably isnt enough to worry about. The S&Bs are already suspected by some people of allowing just a little too much dirt pass thru the filters.

Besides, you need to get the exhaust working better before worrying too much about the inlet end. If the exhaust isn't maximized, the demand on the inlet end will continue to be minimized.
