I'm honestly feeling patriotic here, not profitable.

Honest. {I have never ever posted a smiley face or a bouncing green booger or anything before this flag.}

I had enough personal emergency savings in CDs to buy a NeonRT or maybe a Stratus R/T [used], but I put it all in the Market yesterday morning, in 2 funds. Whatever happens, it FELT GOOD! Even if you don't NEED anything Viper, just BUY something US Made, that you DO need. A lawn mower. A ladder. Some tools. A battery. That energy efficient quiet dishwasher. Or add to a Mutual fund. You cannot join the armed forces, or give any more blood, or move debris. Or fly another flag.........

So Buy Something American. Or Fly Somewhere and enjoy the trip. Help restore normalcy to the USA.

Very unusual, but I have had Three key vendors call to guage sales and ask me for more business in the wake of 9-11. There are THREE good reasons to get aboard:

1) Stocks of usually hard to get items, usually having a 14-30 day wait, are ready NOW! Same-Day shipping on CORSA 3" for example, with no waiting for our stock to be replenished. A second historically 30-day vendor is now just 2 weeks wait...and a 3-5 week vendor is only 1-2. TeamTech is 1-2 days!

2) Getting these vendors some business is important to their livelihood, (and ours)....and the US's, and even YOURS!

3) PartsRack will aggressively price cat-backs and headers and wings, tops, harnesses and anything where margins allow. To get YOU back to normal and our vendors back to normal. All this stuff is US made. If there are THREE of you wanting a V-mania top and/or windows, I will allow you an EXTRA 10% off!

Call it a back-to-normal September sale if you want to. In fact, during the rest of September, PartsRack will donate $25 of every purchase of those items above (and some others as well) to the NY VCA Relief fund, in YOUR name. You have my word, and our thanks.

The FIRST $50 is now earned / pledged to NY-VCA. Thanks. The buyer even mentioned this post!

Well said Jon.

I've just booked to fly out to the US (CO) in a months time.
Partsrack will be receiving another order from me again soon.
I will be sure to abuse the credit card some more on my visit.

Best wishes America.

Great post Jon B.!!
I couldnt agree with you more.
I am the parts manager for a Nissan dealer and our business is off 30%. I am not feeling too "profitable " either but if other businesses that were on the edge of going under(ie: Airlines) are off 30% as well this does not bode (sp) well for the US economy.
Without forgeting about the terrible things that occured on 9/11 lets all try to do the things we would have done before that tragic day.
In that vein, Hey Jon I need a hi pressure power steering hose, the one from the pump to the rack for my 94 RT/10.
You got one??? How much is it?? (please read my tag line below when quoting me a price

Buy and fly--Jon is right> I have been flying a fair amount since 9/11 and most airports are downright eerie from the lack of activity.Just today, I flew from Houston To Pitt with all of about 15 people on board a 737. Even if we can bail out the airlines it doesn't help all the other folks who are in the chain. Like the shoe shine man in the airport who said all his concession buddies were getting laid off and that he himself could no longer pay his bills---very sad stuff.

My last trip was 4 legs, Terminals deserted. No waits at counters. ZERO wait at security, 1/4 full planes, and all 4 flites were 15-22 minutes EARLY on arrival. And Terry....I gave the shoe-shine guy a $5 tip on a $5 shine, and he truly sounded VERY grateful. No other customers waiting. A look-you-in-the-eye 'THANK YOU'! "Trickle Down Economics" at work...

[[[ I had 3 more sales today that 'qualified' and referenced this post. And get this: One Gentleman was a middle-Easterner, glad to know that $50 of his purchase was heading to VCA-NYC relief! Thanks ..... ]]]

Of COURSE I have it ! New and used. The used ones look kinda banged up, so would NOT trust em when our price for a new one is only $39. Can ship tomorrow.......thank you.

I just retired from 33 years of airlines and travel agencies! My timing was great. Agencies asked for $5 bil today...

And we had ANOTHER sale (+$25 to NY-VCA) and 2 inquiries today on the "NORMAL" post. Thanks.

Thanks Jon,
I will tear into it this weekend to verify its the hose leaking, not a loose connection, or the rack leaking.
The price sounds good..
Ill be in touch,
Cheers,
