I am posting this for a SMOKIN friend of mine!

the question is as follows......

Ive heard that Arrow now tests engines that are in for rebuilds for use of nitrous. That way they can deny warranty claim on cars with engine failures because they used NOS. The tests involve some sort of chemical tests that look for traces of Nitrous in the engine oil. As everyone if htere is any truth to this.

Thanks

Well, if you blow it up on Nitrous, they won't have to test to know if it's been sprayed. It leaves behind a path of destruction that is pretty obvious. If you've sprayed it and later blow the motor up, it's pretty hard to trace. Automotive grade nitrous has sulfur added to keep kids from huffing it. That's what they test for. If you change the oil, they can't really tell. Your engine oil has some sulphur in it anyways. Spray on my brotha! But do be careful. It's not as hard as you might think to blow up a Viper.

I believe the engines are shipped to Arrow without the engine oil in it. They also come back with no oil in them.

As much as I hate to say it. If i do put a SC on my car and i
kill the engine, i dont expect anyone to cover the repair except me. Why? Because I was the guy who added the SC.

That is why i probably wont enhance my engine anymore than smooth tubes. even though the HP gains are very, very tempting.

just my 2 cents....

1st obvious sign of sulfurNOS is the orange rust color on the plugs,2nd is the blowby NOSfuel in the oil,3rd is the surface of the pistons. Some lucky gamblers get pure NOS!Good news is,NOS finds the weak link in your motor, now you can upgrade N/A and really kick A$$.
