This is the 7 page article that was in Viper magazine a few months back. Since there are so many ACRs out there now, some might of missed it and even if you don't have an ACR it's a great read. BTW, that's my "home" track "Willow Springs International Raceway".

Thanks for the scan. I've read the article (about 50 tiimes!) and used it to help me out. My first track visit was with a stock set-up. It wasn't bad but there was a fair bit of understeer. The brakes also took a track session to feel right.

Using the information from the article and this site I now have the car turning in properly and the brakes are very good - much better than my '04.

Our track is now closed for the winter so everything will wait until spring.... Hmmm, there is a day at Laguna Seca coming up in a few weeks! Who knows.

Thanks for taking time scanning and posting as I was a new VCA member and missed the article. One question, I had my ACR lowered to 102/135 and the car looks a lot higher than the car in the article still as I could put about 2 1/2 fingers in the rear wheel well in mine and I doubt there's even one finger gap in that car.

Bruce,

Pictures can be a bit deceiving if the car is moving or turning - or both.

Just went through this with a friend in his new ACR at Willow Springs a short time ago.

The Aero will cause the car to squat quite a bit at speed - especially in the front where the springs are a bit light for track work.
