Attended my first VCA (Houston) meeting - photos!

My wife, Lisa, and I were invited to attend a Houston VCA gathering yesterday afternoon. The weather was absolutely perfect, food was great (Topwater Grille in San Leon) and everyone was very nice to chat with. There was a good showing, 14 Vipers in attendance!

We had a raffle and the Wife won a free 1-year VCA membership, along with some car soap and microfiber towels. Good stuff!

Looking forward to the next gathering!

Congrats Tony & Lisa,

Glad you had a great time your first event!! It is an amazing sight to be a new Viper owner and see all those Vipers in one spot...let alone all the stares of passer's by!!

Did you cruise as a group too?

I really enjoy some of our cruises here in NJ with the NY/CT guys too, especially when we've been in upstate New York and no officers are in the immediate vicinity! You should see the look on the kids faces in cars we pass as one, two , three, four, five Vipers fly by!

Please give your wife congratulations on her raffle win! You might want to mention that the last person to win the VCA Diamondback Viper was another woman.

It was my first event as well! I am sorry I didn't get to formally introduce myself - I'm Eric - I was sitting at the end of the table by Jim. My car is the 99 Silver GTS. Thank you for posting all the great pics, you have a much better camera than I do. Hopefully my wife can make it next time and we can all get a chance to chat.

Like Aaron said, there's NOTHING like the looks on people's faces when 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,20 Vipers are all criss-crossing on the 3-lane highways!!! What a RUSH!

Thanks, but I already signed up for the VCA last week. So, we won a reimbursement. I PM'd a moderator to update my user status here, but I'm not sure how long that takes.

What a great event we had this weekend. Beautiful weather enticed owners of 14 Vipers, our largest turnout yet since we started the new club early this year, to come out and play.

Tony, thanks for bringing your great camera and putting the professional touch on our event photos!! They look great.

Eric, was nice to meet you and hope your new bride can make it next time.
