B&B cat back and cats for a 2002 RT 10.

How do they sound?
are they louder then the Corsa?
how do they compare to the Corsa for fit and finish?
are there much for HP gains?
are there any sound files for the B&B’s that I can listen to?

They are several hundred dollars less than the Corsa so does that mean these are a good buy?

Thanks

Tim

I have the B&B cat back (w/ Stock Cats) on my RT/10 and love the sound. It's about as loud as the Corsa (which is on my GTS), but deeper sounding while the Corsa sounds just a little more raspy by comparison. As far as fit and finish I'd say about an A- as compared to Corsa's A+, with stock being a C. HP gains are nominal and probably the same with most aftermarket cat backs. I'd definitely recommend it for the RT/10. However, I would not recommend it for the GTS, unless you don't mind the drone at certain RPM's.

I have the B&B with random techs-and it sounds pretty much like what Gus said. After putting the new headers on it, it sounds more "open" if you will, while still retaining a nice deep tone.
The only issue that I had with the fit and finish was that one of the bends didn't match up perfectly when coming to the center in the back. My mechanic did have to do some work-but the end result looks excellent.

Well they do sound good. The deeper sound is more desirable than the raspyness of the Corsa.
