B&M Shifter

Did the shifter set up on the Viper change from 99 to 01? I ordered a B&M ripper and the info specifies that it will fit on a 1992-1999 model. B&Ms web page says that it will fit from a 1992-2001. Im thinking the page I ordered from is a little out of date.

That reminds me...I broke mine and I suppose I should call em and
see if I am going to get a replacement soon.

Never thought I would break a B&M in half, but I did.

I just put one one,seems ok so far,not sure in impressed(short shaft seems the best way to go for the $$$,we'll see if it can handle 10sec.passes this friday at the GLD.Hope you can make it!

AM I GOING TO BREAK THE SHIFTER once I install it? I had one in my C5 that I yanked (huhhhh. yank.) the daylights out of and never broke it.

From what has been posted, if your B&M breaks the company replaces it. The breaking of the unit has more to do with the older design.

The new shifters are supposed to be updated and better. Mine is good so far.

Cool beans!!! I can just see my self shifting to hammer pass someone and ending up with the shifter in the trunk.

It scared the crap outta me....I had the B&M in the C5 too and that thing was STRONG.
