Back from Ohio - GTS going to get painted....

Well, my car has been delivered to Ed aka Double Venom Combs and his lovely wife, Diane, in Ohio for its scheduled patriotic paint scheme - we've been pouring over the suggestions and working with a graphic artist on the final design. There were some last minute changes - and I hope to be able to post the artist's rendition here soon - althogh it may be more fun to wait until its done - 2D drawings cannot do the car justice - nor can the lack of metallic colors in Adobe Illustrator....

Saw DV I - painted in a bad asp color of red/ maroon / purple Chromalusion with 2 bold stripes in the same family only darker - WOW... and that V10 looks quite at home under the hood.

Met Jim and Linda Pfeffers (sp?) there and really appreciated their help / input on the design. They'll be checking on my car periodically.... Thanks again guys. The only thing that remains is picking a complementary red to go with that gorgeous Viper blue - anyone have any ideas?

Saw Jay Herbert's Viper of many years there, too - and I know he's getting excited - it'll be VERY cool when its done - Ed really is a master painter.

SO, I am Viperless for a while - maybe Henry will share???

Hey Janni,

You can borrow mine for awhile. Let me know when I should bring it to you. The only thing is Henry might be a little upset being that you would have a car faster than his!!! Can't wait to see the masterpeice.

Hey Bernie - thanks for the offer - the only thing is its not the CAR that's the problem - its the driver..... I'm too slow... so he'd still be faster...

Yes Sir Steverino, I will be at Mid-Ohio. Gotta bring the Black and Silver Beast out to run on Hoosiers for the first time. Rumors are we are going to have over 80 Vipers this year, so hopefully alot of folks will come out and watch ---- or stay overnight and party.
