Looks like they changed a lot more than just the color and interior.

Seeing that the SRT-4 has a similarly colored "Orange Blast" paint this year, and the Neon is being replaced by the Dodge Caliber in 2006, this makes perfect sense. 
Both the upcoming Charger, and Ram truck will offer Daytona models with a orange metallic color called "Go-Man-Go" as well.
The Viper's Copperhead color looks more like a shiny new copper penny than like Dodge's bright orange metallic paint.
