Battery Tender...Security system

When using a "battery tender" to charge your battery, do you have to turn off the Vipers security system off?

Also...I started the Viper last nite, and ran it for 15 min. Then I connected the battery tender to charge the system. After 10 hours the red light is still indicating that it is still charging. Normally how long does the charging take to fully charge the Vipers battery...in general?

Dave,
You can leave the "Alarm System" on.
Give the charger a 24 hour window, and then see if the light went out.

It took 30 hours to get green light on 03 SRT-10 applied the day of delivery to our garage using Deltran Battery Tender Plus....similar time on first attempt with 01 GTS as well.

Yes, remember your tender is only charging at 1.25 amps.
