As I mentioned in my other post, I recently lost my 1997 B/W GTS in an accident. Bernie was one of the individuals that came to my rescue with supporting documents as to the value of my car. The original offer was $40000 for a B/W with 21,000 miles with out so much as a paint chip. If it wasn't for guys like Bernie, who jumped up to the plate, situations like this could be a disaster. Bernie, thanks for your help! By the way, thanks for the tour of you Viper collection. You have some of the cleanest Vipers for sale that I've ever seen. Guys and Girls, check em out at BJ Motors.

Thanks Again
Dwight

I bought my past 98 GTS from Bernie. His cars are very well kept and they really are like new. He let me know ahead of time of every little mark on it and some that I never found. :)

Do not hesitate to buy from Bernie, not only does he know his Sh*t when it comes to Vipers, he's honest and would only sell you a car he would buy for himself! :2tu:

I love you guys. When is the horsepower challenge is it this weekend and is it for the kids at the hospital. If it is I have to be there the faces on these children when the Vipers pull in and then the Vettes is incredible. Please call me and let me know if everybody is hooking up and where? 18043471808

Bernie, kids are great but this one is at the VA hospital and we are giving rides to any Veteran that wants one. Note that we lost the horsepower challenge by 1/2 a Viper last year. Horsepower is calculated either as stock , 510hp for an 06 SRT for example, or dyno sheet for a modded car, bring your highest HP car, heck, bring two or three cars!
Here are the details..

Sunday, September 10, 2006

Agenda for "Horsepower Challenge – Corvette vs. Viper,"
1:30 PM meet at McGuire Veterans Hospital, 1201 Broad Rock, Blvd., Richmond, VA
3:30 PM event ends and trophy awarded by losing club to the winning club
Notes:
1. Rain or shine. Let's not loose the trophy because we cannot get our Vipers wet!
2. There are few gas stations near the hospital.
3. The Horsepower Challenge is to see which club, Viper Club of America or Corvette Club of Virginia, will have the most horsepower at the event. Both clubs will use net horsepower unless you have a dyno slip. The dyno slips will be adjusted for drive train loss.
4. We lost the Horsepower Challenge by half of a Viper last year. We cannot lose two years in a row!
5. The show is to honor our veterans. Corvette and Viper owners who wish will give rides to the veterans in the hospital.
6. Ron Hickey will organize a cruise from Northern VA to McGuire Veterans Hospital. Contact him for details at (703) 241-2878 or [email protected]
7. John Schwaebler will organize a cruise from the Tidewater area to the McGuire Veterans Hospital. Contact him for details at (757) 427-0123 or [email protected]
8. Please call or email Howard Burnette with the horsepower of your Viper at (804) 745-3255 or [email protected]">[email protected]
