Greetings;

Yes, I have size twelve flat feet. The problem is unintentional touching of the brake pedal and/or simultaneous unintentional braking when I stomp on the gas! Is there an easy adjustment or aftermarket pedal/pedals that would give me more space?

My Viper is an 01' RT-10, it runs incredibly well.

Yes, I have played around with fore/aft pedal adjustment, seat adjustment. I also tend to have my tennis shoes brush up against the carpet to the right side of the throttle pedal. The carpet is real grabby to sneakers.

Short of amputation/foot transplant, any honest suggestions?

Thanks,

Jim "Bigfoot" Wallace

Sean Roes recipe sounds like the fix for your problem;

Adjust the gas pedal at the firewall by loosening the (2)7/16" nuts on the fwd side of the firewall and pulling the assembly loose from the adhesive then move it over as far as you can toward the tunnel to obtain clearance.. You can also hog out the holes a little to get a bit more space then re-tighten.. Good luck!!

What I do is that I bought a pair of wrestleing shoes from Sports Authority and use them to drive. This cuts down on the width of the shoes and are more slender. I use those shoes on the Ferraris too, they have the same problem.
