Well, I haven't seen any pictures of the Black Mamba on the site, so I figured I would post a few. Phil Brown of Bud Brown Dodge here in Overland Park (913-642-4600) has #174 of 200 on his showroom floor and he invited me down to check it out. VERY nice and if I didn't have that darn yellow thing ordered I would jump on this one in a heartbeat!

First off, the exterior is the same beautiful Viper Black, only the logos have changed. Here is the side logo:

Likewise, the front badge is no longer the dark gray but is a nice contrasting red:

Of course the big deal is the interior. Like the White Mamba of earlier, it really is slick:

The red carries over to the seat logos, right down to the stitching:

That same stitching can be found on the parking brake and shift boots (sorry this one is a little blurry):

Yep, each one is limited to only 200 cars with a serialized plaque on the console:

And that red? Pretty darn bright!

Looks a little less bright when you tone down everything in Photoshop and backlight it:

So what does this Limited Edition cost? Here is the window sticker:

Is it worth it? When you consider that Dodge charged $3000+ for just stripes on a GTS, then this doesn't seem so bad by comparison. Afterall, this is a pretty killer interior treatment, right down to the red badge on the steering wheel:

Oh yeah, and it not only includes the convertible boot, but also includes a custom car cover. Not bad at all for only $2500. Here is one last look, this time of the convertible boot cover:

Phil has this car for sale and is a VCA member as well. Be sure to give him a call and tell him I sent you!

Thanks Chris for the pics! It looks great!! I can't wait for mine to get here, but unfortunately times have changed and I'm not going to be able to swing it! :( So it looks like there will be another Black Mamba available.

"HUGE" VCA discount on it!!
Call, we'll talk. Thanks

Nice pics! If you're OK with it, I'll stick them in the Black Mamba area of the Registry Galleries. Yellow will be easier to keep looking nice ;)

So the only difference I see is the exterior color and the number plate are black. Here is a White Mamba Number Plate:

That would be fine! And yep, I already thought of all the buff marks you would never see on yellow... :2tu:
